Roles and Responsibilities
The Business Development Manager's primary responsibilities include
developing and maintaining long-term relationships with a portfolio
of clients and new prospects. Account Managers liaise between
customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely
and successful delivery of our packaging solutions and services
according to our customers' needs and requirements. The account
manager will be primarily responsible for the managing and
development of client accounts while finding new business
opportunities within the US West Region.
Act as the primary point of contact to build long-term
relationships with customers
Develop and maintain current product knowledge
Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the company's
customer base
Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts
Present and sell company products and services to current customers
and prospective customers
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
Forecast and track key account metrics
Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering
exceptional client service
Identify potential client issues and help support internal/external
stakeholders in resolving client issues
Communicate the progress of bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and
annual initiatives to internal/external stakeholders
Monitor and analyze customer's usage of our products
Work with the customer service rep to onboard and integrate new
clients and developing existing client relationships
Liaise between the customer and internal teams
Travel to customer sites (approx. 50% of working hours)
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to
promote the company and identify new leads.
Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to identify
threats and opportunities.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience as an Account Manager, Key Account
Manager, or relevant role.
An exceptional level of motivation, desire, and competitiveness;
driven to provide the best client focused solutions.
Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects at the same time, while
effectively managing their time and maintaining sharp attention to
detail
Strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively present
and/or communicate information and respond to questions from groups
of managers (DMU's), colleagues, and customers
Sales or business development experience with any of the following
highly preferred
Industrial, transport, or export packaging services
Custom built to print packaging
Cleanroom packaging
Third-Party Packaging and/or Contract Packaging Services
Knowledge the Semiconductor, Optics, Photonics, or Aerospace
markets
